Asking a short question to the membership
The association maintains a LinkedIn group and as an association member, you may post a question on the discussion board which will be forwarded to all members who participate in the group. The intention of this service is to provide a vehicle members can use to ask either a personal or professional question of the membership.
Our guidelines are as follows:
- Only members are a part of the group, but the association cannot guarantee the complete confidentiality of a discussion. To seek advice on confidential business issues, see the Business Advisory Network (BAN) description above. Both personal and professional inquiries are appropriate.
- Examples may include: purchasing another member’s sports tickets, a recommendation of out of town restaurants or hotels, or another member’s experience with a personal service provider. Appropriate business questions will be general in nature: “Does anyone know a firm who can….”
- The following are examples of postings that are not appropriate: advertising the activities of another civic or professional group, charitable solicitations, political endorsements, product advertising, stories from publications, company awards or jokes.
- The distribution of information for all members is made through the eNews. If you have an article you feel would be of interest to the entire membership, please forward it to the director by clicking here.
