The leadership of the association is responsible for the maintenance of the membership standards thereby insuring that the association remains a group of peers. Standards for business owners include minimum revenues ($1.0 million), position in the company (a principle shareholder), and length of ownership (a minimum of five years). Standards for professional members include 15 years in their discipline and professional members are limited to a maximum of 20% of the membership.
