What We Do:
Working on Yourself:
The Association is a Learning Network, not a Sales Network. The Association sponsors programs suggested by Members dealing with topics specifically related to helping them to grow their business. All events are free to Members and their spouses.
Working on Your Business:
Business Advisory Network: The Business Advisory Network provides a straightforward and timely process for EA members to have personal access to a small and appropriate group of highly qualified EA members, JCU faculty, and/or local business experts for discussion of a pressing business issue. A Member may submit a challenge statement through the Director to the Committee.
The committee will provide appropriate entrepreneurs, University faculty or community resources to meet with you to discuss your issue and recommend possible solutions.
The process takes place within one to two weeks.
Advisory Board: A Member, facing a high growth situation in his/her business may request through the Director to the Mentoring Committee. If accepted, the Mentoring Committee will assist in assembling an Advisory Board from among Master Entrepreneurs, Boler School of Business Faculty, and Community volunteers.
Academic Projects: During the academic year, Boler school Faculty typically ask EA members to volunteer their companies for class projects with the intention of helping the member develop practical approaches to growing a segment of their business. Members are interviewed by the faculty member and are selected by them.
