Ohio’s Only Crisis Communications Firm Changes Name
EA member Bruce Hennes announced the name change of his crisis communications firm. Hennes Paynter Communications is the new name of Ohio’s only public relations agency focused exclusively on crisis communications. Founded by Bruce in 1989, the firm added Barbara Paynter to the formal firm nameplate to recognize Paynter’s inclusion as a full partner in the firm and because of the contributions she has made to the firm’s growth over the past three years. Glazen Creative Studios Wins Top Ohio Tourism Marketing Award
Under the direction of EA member Tony Weber, Glazen Creative Studios, in partnership with Positively Cleveland, won a first place Middy Award from the Ohio Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus for a recent Cleveland tourism video. The video was shot in high definition and features spectacular aerial footage of the region’s hottest attractions. The piece also includes an original song written and performed by local hip-hop artist Q-Nice and local jazz musician Bill Ransom. For details, visit www.glazen.com.

Gordon Square Arts District Signage + Wayfinding
EA member Rachel Downey and her team at Studio Graphique recently completed phase one of the signage and wayfinding program on behalf of the Gordon Square Arts District. The District is a geographical subset of the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood and the economic cornerstone of Cleveland’s West Side, helping to infuse more than $500 million in economic development in the local community. Studio Graphique created a phase one sign program that communicates identity and information by bringing people into the district and to locate public parking. Wise Group launches “10 to Change”
Under the leadership of EA member Tammy Wise, Wise Group recently published a special book called “10 to Change.” The brochure highlights Wise Group’s campaign about “how an idea and a few dollars blossomed to make a difference.” Each staff member donated $10 to a nonprofit organization and shared their experience on the firm’s blog. Perspectus Architecture recognized as one of CBC Magazine’s Top 10
Professional design firm Perspectus Architecture, led by EA member Bill Ayars AIA, was honored by Cleveland Business Connects (CBC) Magazine, by vote of its 15-person editorial advisory board, as one of the Top 10 Northeast Ohio companies and organizations that has exemplified entrepreneurial success in 2009.
