Association Members win Alumni Medal 5/21/2008

Barbara Brown, Mike Hardy and Jack Hearns were awarded the Alumni Medal at the annual Alumni awards ceremony on May 16, 2008.

Barb is a Master Member of the association and a member of the Advisory Board. Two years ago, she led a strategic assessment to help review and adjust the association’s direction on behalf of the association’s Advisory Board

With her partner, Margie Flynn, she founded Brown Flynn ten years ago to assist their clients in developing both corporate responsibility and sustainability strategies for their businesses. Their tag line: “Do Good. Do Well. Win.” also is a perfect tagline for Barb’s life. If you would like to congratulate Barb, click here.

Mike is a Master Member and a member of the Association’s Advisory Board and Executive Committee.

He is the Office Partner in Charge of the law firm Thompson-Hine. Mike is widely recognized as one of the finest environmental law litigators in the country and has received numerous awards from his profession.

A key advisor to the association, Mike is “always there” for the leadership of the association and our members. If you would like to congratulate Mike, click here.

Jack is a Master Member of the Association who has spanned two careers, education and small business.

After retiring as Superintendent of the Warrensville school system, Jack formed a real estate appraisal firm. Despite helping to educate thousands of kids, he feels that educating homeowners on the true value of their home may be an even more difficult task – particularly today!

Jack has quietly supported the Association and has been a mentor to several of you. If you would like to congratulate Jack, click here.
