The Association’s Entrepreneurs’ House project moving toward Construction 5/21/2008

Entrepreneurs’ House is an exciting new residential community in Murphy Hall for incoming freshmen interested in Entrepreneurship. Students from any academic major who are interested in innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship may apply to live on this floor. As you know, during college you make those live long friendships, and one objective of Entrepreneurs’ House is to put these future entrepreneurs together.

As a member of the Entrepreneurs Association, you may be asked to have an informal meeting with these students to discuss how you got into your business and any advice you might have on how they can embark on their own journey.

The key access lounge for the floor was designed by Lynn Bayer’s firm. As you may know, they recently completed a major project for KeyBank by redesigning 27 floors in Key Tower. The lounge, which is being funded by a group of the Master Members of the association, will have very cool furniture, a kitchenette, bathroom, and appropriate technology to assist students in working on their projects.

The construction of the lounge will be completed this summer for the incoming class in September. To see the lounge plan, click here.
