Some interesting factoids:
- There are currently 211 companies in the Association.
- 11% of the companies are manufacturers, while 21% are distributors, reflecting recent national trends.
- Our professional service companies at 18% reflect the EA’s limit on Professional Members.
- Since all “growth opportunities” today are thought to be in I.T., it was surprising that only five are in I.T. equipment and seven are in software and consulting.
The Association companies are a good reflection of the region according to Reference USA. We are giving you two charts that outline the percentages of our companies by type.
The first chart shows all companies in the Association and the second chart breaks out the Business-to-Business category, which comprises our largest group of companies.
