George Sample is a Cleveland native who graduated from John Hay High School. George proceeded to John Carroll University, where graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He later returned to John Carroll to earn his MBA.

George is Assistant Vice President - Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Opportunity for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Prior to joining the Bank, George served as  the Director of Human Resources for the Cuyahoga County Public Library. Before that, George served in Human Resources Manager roles at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District and The Lubrizol Corporation.

George is President of the Cleveland Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). George is a member of the Board of Directors for John Carroll University and the United Way of Greater Cleveland. George also serves on the steering committee for John Carroll University’s athletic booster club. George resides in Strongsville with his wife Tanya, and his daughters Jordan and AJ. George plays competitive paintball.
